About Me

I began my career when newspapers still anchored the morning routine and newsrooms were filled with ringing phones, tight deadlines, and reporters chasing the next story. I eventually worked my way up to writing a monthly column, “Profiles in Courage,” highlighting the experiences of soldiers returning home from overseas deployments.

As the journalism industry evolved and traditional newsrooms transformed in the digital age, I transitioned into corporate work, where I continued developing my skills in research, analysis, and strategic communication.

After spending the past five years writing novels, I am returning to my first passion: journalism. My work focuses on human-interest features, public safety, veterans’ issues, civic engagement, and historical subjects, combining personal storytelling with careful research and verified sources to bring important conversations to life.

I believe every person has a story worth telling and that some of the most meaningful stories are found in everyday acts of service, resilience, and community. Whether covering local events, profiling individuals making a difference, or exploring history through a modern lens, I strive to create work that is accurate, compelling, and deeply human.

When I’m not writing, you’ll often find me researching history, interviewing community leaders, or attending local events in search of the next story worth sharing.
